This position is responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of portable devices and kitchen hood systems. Responsibilities include inspecting, testing and performing fire extinguisher checks in accordance with fire code; identifying system deficiencies and preparing accurate and timely inspection reports. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Inspect and/or service fire extinguishers and kitchen suppression systems in commercial and residential buildings. Test and repair fire extinguishers and kitchen hood systems already in place. Perform inspections to ensure fire extinguishers are installed according to code. Complete detailed inspection reports, documenting any issues. Report results of work completed in an accurate and timely manner. Protect and maintain company equipment. Inspect and maintain the truck and all related equipment, putting in repair requests as necessary to maintain safe operation.
