Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Machinist will be responsible performing assigned tasks safely and efficiently by regularly using various machines & hand tools. You'll Do: - Be a key player in a company-wide continuous improvement effort - Read and interpret blueprints and perform precise machining operations based on project specifications - Make parts using large and small lathes, milling machines, and drill presses to exacting standards and tight tolerances by verifying dimensions using precision measuring instruments - Calibrate measuring instruments to ensure accuracy - Inspect and test completed products to ensure that they meet quality standards - Utilize knowledge and skills to recognize opportunities for improvements and savings - Work with other trades in a flexible team environment to achieve greater efficiency and productivity - Perform all duties in accordance with work safe practice You have: - A valid journeyman or inter-provincial certification is required - Experience...
