CTS Cardiology Associate/Sonographer - Non-Invasive Cardiology - Temporary Position Summary: At Stony Brook Medicine, a TH CTS Cardiology Associate is a valuable member of our team, who provides clinical services to our patient population. Qualified candidates will demonstrate superior patient care and possess outstanding communication skills while adhering to our high standard of excellence. Duties of a TH CTS Cardiology Associate in the Non-Invasive Cardiology Department may include the following but are not limited to: - Under the general supervision of the Technical Director of Echocardiography, the TH CTS Cardiology Associate will perform and assist in the performance of a variety of echocardiographic procedures on adult inpatients and outpatients. Using standard 2D, color flow, Doppler and M-Mode techniques and views as indicated and needed. The technologist's primary area of responsibility will be in all aspects of echocardiography. Facility with 2D, color and Doppler echocardiography is required. - Enter charges for exams performed. - Enter patient data/measurements into reporting system. - Acts as a clinical resource and preceptor for new staff and students. - Serves on se...
