Job description

The primary function of this position is to troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance procedures on the hospital's telephone system, nurse call system, television system and two-way communication system. Experience - Sufficient previous experience as a biomedical equipment technician preferred. Customer relations, verbal and written communication skills necessary. Education - High school diploma or equivalent and/or vocational/ specialized training preferred. Courses in electronic technology required. - Supports the hospital's Christian mission and philosophy. - Troubleshoots and performs repairs and maintenance on the telecommunications system. - Makes all moves, adds and other changes to the switch and associated equipment.
