Job Summary: The Radiologic Technologist Clinic is responsible for performing and assisting with diagnostic radiology procedures in surgery, pain management and other clinical areas within the Clinic facility. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. Essential Functions: - Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and members of staff. - Evaluates radiographs for technical quality. - Assists physicians in administering prescribed contrast agents for all procedures. Administer first-aid as required and assist in cases of adverse reactions to contrast media or in other emergencies. - Assists physicians with biopsy procedures; administer dressings as appropriate; deliver biopsy samples to laboratory and monitor vital signs of pati...
