Description: - The Registered Nurse prescribes nursing care, delegates nursing activities, and coordinates the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care to provide optimal quality care, consistent with the health care system’s mission and, nursing philosophy, objectives, and standards. Has full access to patient health information. - Assesses patient’s needs. Accurately analyzes the assessment data collected, identifies problem(s) and formulates appropriate nursing interventions. - Utilizes appropriate Standards of Care, policies and procedures in developing plan of care. - Institutes appropriate protective/preventative measures when indicated. - Identifies and provides appropriate education relevant to the patient’s plan of care during visit.
