Warehouse Cutline Operator - 1st Shift

Job description

SUMMARY: Person in this position will cut and or strip cable, chain, and other wire products to specific lengths. They will display the ability to work closely with others and as a team. Responsibilities listed below cover some of the significant duties performed, but do not exclude other occasional work assignments not mentioned. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: - Operates coiling line, rim drive, and spooling line equipment to make cuts - Loads and unloads master reels onto cutline equipment in preparation for cuts - Respools and cuts cable, wire rope, and whisper-flex to specified lengths - Logs all cuts into computer system - Strips a required length of jacket off of traveling cable, flat cable, and whisper-flex chain - Packages and pushes cut reel off of take-up for further processing - Performs quality checks for correct operation of counter and fault - Assists with cycle counts, physical inventories, and other inventory control activities POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Prysmian, as an Equal Opportunity Employer, aims to attract and recruit individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and abilities.
