Job Title: Maintenance Technician Apprentice Job Description: THE ROLE: Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking a Maintenance Technician Apprentice to join our team. The Maintenance Technician Apprentice performs a variety of tasks and assignments including the maintenance and repair of production equipment and facility infrastructure. The focus will be on equipment uptime and reliability, preventative maintenance, safety, troubleshooting, controls and automation equipment, and process improvements. This position will gain experience as a Maintenance Technician while completing relevant coursework through the apprenticeship program. HOURS FOR THIS POSITION IS FIRST SHIFT MONDAY-FRIDAY (FLEXIBLE HOURS DEPENDING ON COURSEWORK) WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK ON 2ND OR 3RD SHIFT FULL TIME AFTER APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM IS COMPLETED. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Repairs, replaces and tests of electrical circuits on equipment. Isolates defects in wiring, switches, motors and other electrical equipment using testing instruments.
