Job Title: Registered Veterinary Nurse - Maternity cover Salary: From £27,000 per annum DOE Location: Wicstun Vets, Market Weighton: Job Type: 12 months Maternity cover contract Hours : 40 hours - 5 days per week We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at Wicstun Vets on a 12 months fixed- term basis to cover Maternity leave As an RVN with us, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional standards of patient and client care while working closely with our Clinical Nursing Manager and wider practice team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our clinical areas and kennels. The Role: This is a varied and rewarding position where you will: Deliver outstanding patient care at all times Undertake all general nursing duties, including anaesthesia, inpatient care, surgical support, and medication administration Manage patient admissions and discharges with accuracy and attention to detail Maintain high-quality clinical records, including anaesthetic sheets and hospitalisation forms Monitor and care for inpatients (pre-op, post-op, and recovery) Support and mentor student nurses and animal care/kennel as...
