Job Title: Cream Cheese Machine Operator Immediate Supervisor Production Supervisor: FLSA Status: Non-Exempt: Summary: The Cream Cheese Machine Operator performs all activities that pertain to the packaging of cheese and ensures quality and productivity of the line while maintaining an efficient operation. Qualifications/Requirements: - Properly package cheese within established company, regulatory and customer specifications. - Operate efficiently all fillers, sealers, pumps as required to achieve up to optimum machine capacity. - Train employees for job specific tasks in the packaging area. - Monitor production reports and schedules to conform to customer requirements. - Monitor weight and measures programs for weight controls. - Inspect and remove unsatisfactory packages from the packaging area and salvage cheese into rework containers. - Perform adjustments, minor repairs and changeovers of equipment to insure time allotments. - Provide proper cleaning and sanitizing of equipment. - Provide the necessary paperwork for inventory supply and customer order filling. - Inspect all equipment to assure proper operation and safety. - Ensure operational procedures are followed and paper...
