As a health teacher, the person in this role will teach required Middle School health classes. Responsibilities: ● Teach approximately 5-6 Middle School Health classes per week ● Deliver established health curriculum while being responsive to student questions ● Collaborate with the Head of Health and Wellness Qualifications: ● Finds joy in working with young people and in school life ● Demonstrates pedagogical skill and an appreciation for the science and the craft of teaching ● Demonstrates cultural competency and skills engaging with and learning from people with diverse backgrounds and experiences ● Possesses an advanced degree or equivalent experience in Health Education ● Possesses knowledge of and experience with: positive identity development of girls, sexuality education/adolescent sexual health, substance use, and body image ● Has experience working with Middle Sch...
