Description JOB DESCRIPTION: Will coordinate the services and program, participate in growth by improving efficiencies, standards, and performance of the service line. This position is responsible for assisting with planning, implementing, and coordinating services and activities associated with the service line. The service line coordinator acts as a clinical liaison and assists with overseeing the technical and clinical aspects of the specified service line. The service line coordinator will participate in training and mentoring of new staff members, enhancing staff skills and knowledgebase. Assists in identifying staff education needs based on clinical situations and recommends appropriate in-service. The service line coordinator will work with surgeons, nurses, first assistants and scrub techs to streamline and standardize the service line to improve efficiency and quality of care. The service line coordinator will be required to maintain surgical tech skills and assist with surgical procedures on a routine basis, assist with troubleshooting, movement, setup and breakdown.
