Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at McKenzie Vets on a full-time basis. Mckenzie Vets is a long established, single site small animal practice in Alexandria with a reputation for the highest standard of care for our patients. It is close to the beauty of Loch Lomond National Park (so perfect for after work paddle-boarding!) but also commutable from Glasgow and Stirling. We have Cat Friendly Silver status and have achieved GP in Practice Standards Scheme. We are "small but mighty" with 3 consulting rooms, dedicated theatre, fully equipped lab, digital and dental x-ray, ultrasound, multiparameter, laser and acupuncture but our best asset is our fantastic team of vets, nurses and reception. We currently have 3 RVNs (two of which are certificate holders), 1 SVN and a VCA and are looking for someone to join us for a year while our Head Nurse is on maternity leave. We have 5 vets, 2 currently studying towards certificates in surgery and cardiology.
