Up to $15,000 Sign-On bonus based on experience Summary: The Asst. Nurse Manager directs and supervises nursing care functions and activities in specialty areas for the purpose of ensuring the competent delivery of quality patient care. He/she implements, educates and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, standards and regulations for personnel, patients, medical staff, and the public. The Asst. Nurse Manager ‘s primary role is to take charge of nursing personnel, however, they may take patient assignments whenever business or operational needs dictate, in order to deliver high quality patient care. Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies, JCAHO, and the Nurse Practice Act. Promotes optimum health care delivery within budgetary guidelines. Responsible for department/s on a 24-hour basis. EDUCATION: Minimum: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Preferred: BSN EXPERIENCE: Minimum two years as a staff nurse, previous charge nurse experience preferred. REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION: Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida.
