Envision Radiology is looking for a Mammography Trainee to join our Team! Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Position Pay Range: $35.48 - $38.48 Hours after completing training would be Monday - Frida,y 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM Summary/Objective: The Mammography Trainee performs routine and diagnostic exams relating to breast anatomy to obtain images at a satisfactory level under the guidance of a certified Mammography Technologist. Maintains and monitors patient environment, adheres to safety procedures and contributes to the security and maintenance of the unit. Essential Functions: · Interfaces with patients to ascertain medical history and provides instructions/explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image. · Provides patient education on breast self-examination as needed. · Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent. · Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc. · Obtains prior imaging as needed and performs high quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation. · Performs exams while attending to patient’s care before, during and following exam and notifies the appropriate party if...
