Title: Peer Success Advocate Employee Classification: Student Help Regular Division Name: Academic Affairs Department: University College Job Summary: Peer Success Advocates in University College contribute to student persistence and retention through proactive outreach efforts. Peer Success Advocates are trained by University College to address academic barriers and connect students to appropriate campus resources and services. Duties will include: 1. Help students resolve barriers that impact their success. 2. Proactive outreach via phone and email to Illinois State students. 3. Meet 1:1 with students to discuss personal and academic concerns. 4. Connect students to Illinois State support services. 5. Maintain accurate appointment notes and privacy of student information.
