This position is contingent upon contract award. Target salary range: $65,000- $71,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors. Location: ON SITE - Center for Seabees and Facility Engineering (CSFE), Naval Base Ventura County, Port Hueneme, CA Objective: Training Specialist will serve as the technical subject matter expert (SME) for the Seabee Readiness Division within CECOS. Qualified candidates should have Senior enlisted Naval Construction Force or Civil Corps Officer experience to be considered for this position. Job Description: Research current educational technologies to ensure material is appropriate for intended audience, environment, and context. Provide training in structured writing, effective writing techniques, and test writing principles to course writers. Coordinate and plan a variety of professional development workshops in support of CSFE mission.
