Job description

The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Community Engagement is accountable for positioning Healthfirst as an engaged community health partner through high-impact, locally executed engagement strategies. Our main objective is to improve member health through a holistic approach where we not only treat individuals but also address the needs of the communities we touch. This leader will advance HF’s goal of improving the health and well-being of members through preventative initiatives that address the social determinants of health. This role is focused on translating enterprise and marketing strategies into meaningful community-based initiatives that drive growth, retention, and improved member health outcomes. The AVP will work in close partnership with Marketing and other internal Healthfirst departments to ensure community engagement efforts are tightly aligned with enterprise growth and retention priorities, while maintaining a clear distinction from brand strategy development.
