CNC Setup/Operator (1st Shift)

Job description

Overview Perform CNC set-ups and machine operations; load and edit programs; read blueprints and inspect finished parts. Perform manual machine operation set-ups and processes; read blueprints and inspect finished parts. Also perform Orbit Forming and Roller setup and operations. Responsibilities: - Read measuring tools (dial calipers, micrometers) - Read and interpret engineering blueprints and work orders/instructions - Perform manufacturing duties to meet daily production standards of quality and quantity - Complete required part inspection and properly record part count and verification of quality - Communicate any machine issues to CNC Team Captain or Team Leader. - Perform set up as required Qualifications: Education and Experience: High school or general education degree (GED) required. One year of basic CNC machine operation or one semester of Technical College CNC machine operation completion.
