Anticipated hiring range: $31,200 - $32,776 The Custodian Tech is responsible for performing professional housekeeping duties in residence halls and reports to the General Custodian Tech Supervisor. This position performs routine custodial tasks according to established schedules and housekeeping standards. This is a fast-paced environment where job assignments and locations may vary within the residence halls to meet departmental needs. Custodian Techs are required to work long hours during the summer months, and schedules may change based on departmental needs. Performs routine custodial tasks such as sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, extracting, blowing, removing trash, cleaning stairs, washing walls and baseboards, cleaning windows and window coverings, cleaning and polishing mirrors, removing spiderwebs, cleaning up spills, appliances and furniture. Moves sofas, chairs, tables, desks, mattresses, appliances and beds to accomplish cleaning tasks. Safely operates all job-related equipment.
