Immaculate Heart of Mary School, located in Towson, Maryland , is seeking a qualified candidate for a part‑time Extended Care Director position. The Extended Day Care Director should have management experience and experience working with young children. In addition, he/she would be responsible for the direct supervision of students within the program as well as the staff. This is a 10‑month role, and the hours are 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Essential Functions: Participate in the hiring of extended care staff Create and maintain a weekly work schedule for staff members Create and maintain a daily schedule for staff to implement with students - Supervise the daily operations of the Extended Care Program. - Supervise aides in planning appropriate social, physical, and creative activities for the students. - Provide a safe and clean environment for the students. - Record daily student attendance. - Work with the Business Office on monthly billing. - Communicate daily with Extended Care Program parents regarding concerns or issues, schedule changes, and general administrative matters. - Supervision of day care staff members. - Communicate all significant concerns and issues to the school a...
