Job description

Job Summary As a technical expert in assembly processes, responsible for developing and optimizing automotive component assembly (electronics, chassis), ensuring quality, efficiency, and cost targets. Requires expertise in error-proofing (Poka-Yoke), robotic automation, and bilingual (English/Mandarin) skills to drive defect reduction and global technical alignment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaboration & Training - Define assembly parameters (torque, press force) via DOE to achieve FPY99%. - Optimize fixture designs using CAD/CAE tools. - Commission robotic systems (vision inspection, servo presses) to achieve OEE85%. - Validate new equipment (laser welders) during OTS trials. - Implement SPC control charts (torque Cpk1.67) and lead root cause analysis (5Why). - Conduct DFM analysis during APQP, review PFMEA, and support PPAP submissions. - Deploy error-proofing devices (sensors) and lead Lean Six Sigma projects. - Resolve customer complaints with technical reports and train teams on SOPs.
