Position Title: Trades Specialist I Department: Safety Department: Term of Assignment: Continuing: Term End Date, If Applicable: FLSA Status: Non-Exempt = overtime eligible Work Schedule: Traditionally Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm; occasional evening, weekend and on call work Salary: Hourly rate: $25.30 starting; $26.60 working Travel: Less than 10%: Brief Statement of Duties: Brief Statement of Duties: Assist the Chief of Police/Director of Safety in providing a secure environment for the campus community by establishing and maintaining key coding systems, installs mechanical and electronic locking devices, install new locks, maintains, adjusts, and repairs door hardware, repairs doors and frames, cuts keys and pins lock cores, and maintains records and inventories. This position provides back up to the Security Specialist I and II as needed. Minimum Qualifications: Required Education: High School Graduation or Equivalent Required Specialized Training/Certifications: Valid motor vehicle operator's license.
