The VIDC is seeking a Procurement Officer to join the Finance team. The Procurement Officer plays a critical role in overseeing the solicitation, execution, and contract administration processes for both non-professional goods and services as well as professional services. This includes ensuring strict compliance with the Virginia Public Procurement Act and all relevant state and agency policies and procedures. The primary objective is to effectively balance the considerations of quality, cost, complexity, and timeliness in the procurement of goods and services while maintaining strong relationships with management, vendors, and internal end users.
