Overview: ​ ​ Part-time 0.6 FTE ​ , ​ Fixed Term position until ​ 31/12/2026 Salary Academic Level B + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements Based at the ​ Melbourne CBD ​ campus, ​ but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University ​ ​ About The Position: The Lecturer (Education Focused) in Geospatial Science is responsible for delivering high-quality, industry-engaged teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate geospatial programs, with a strong focus on educational practice, curriculum development and student learning outcomes. The role contributes to teaching in areas such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and related geospatial technologies, while maintaining scholarly and professional engagement within the discipline. Working collaboratively within the School of Science, the Lecturer supports course coordination, industry partnerships, and work-integrated learning initiatives, helping to prepare graduates with applied, workforce-ready geospatial skills.
