Job ID: 522505 Siouxland Concrete Company, A CRH Company, is based in South Sioux City, Neb., and delivers ready mix concrete and related construction materials throughout the Siouxland region. Position Overview: The Ready-Mix Driver will be responsible for all duties of the position, including the transporting of freshly mixed concrete from the plant to the job site in a safe manner. This individual will be responsible for making normal operating adjustments to the equipment and material being hauled. Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions) - Comply with all Department of Transportation requirements including but not limited to licensing, vehicle inspection, and hours of service. - Operates truck in safe and professional manner on public highways, roads, in the yard area and at various job sites to deliver materials. - Inspects the truck as required at the start of each workday, completing the Driver Check-off Sheet which indicates that all systems are functioning properly. - Maneuvers the truck to deliver concrete to the point of delivery.
