Paramedic (Per Diem)

Job description

Position Purpose The Medic supports the Health Center’s mission — to promote students’ development as healthy individuals and members of society — by providing safe, efficient, and compassionate health services under the direction of nursing and medical provider staff. The Medic contributes to daily patient care, assists in urgent and emergent situations, and helps maintain readiness of clinical operations. Care is delivered within the boundaries of the Academy’s protocols, federal and state regulations, and the established scope of practice at the Lamont Health and Wellness Center. This is a per diem (non-benefited) position, during the Academic Year (Sept-Beginning of June) and 5 weeks in the summer (Beginning of July through the first week of August). Multiple shifts available.
