Job description

The Supplier Quality Development Engineer (SQD) for Propulsion Systems at Stellantis is accountable for leading and managing suppliers through advanced quality planning and process development to ensure high operational efficiency, robust industrialization, and capable manufacturing processes that meet Stellantis quality and capacity requirements. This role requires close collaboration with internal and external Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing teams to ensure appropriate designs, suppliers, and manufacturing processes are selected, validated, and refined from early development through launch and into production. As a key driver of supplier performance, the Propulsion SQD leads root cause analysis and structured problem-solving efforts, drives process improvements, and ensures deployment of best practices and lessons learned across programs.
