Senior Cost Accountant

Job description

Location: Alhambra, CA Work Arrangement: On Site: Position Summary: The Cost Accountant will be responsible for developing, implementing and/or maintaining a standard cost accounting system. They will prepare journal entries; maintain and reconciles ledger accounts, collect data, allocate costs and prepare reports on labor, equipment, depreciation, assembly or other operating expenses, ensuring that established procedures are followed. They will also be responsible for preparing financial statements and variance reports as requested. Key Responsibilities: Accounting and Financial Reporting Review standard material, labor, subcon fees and overhead costs Prepare journal entries and reconcile inventories to balance sheet Analyze gross margin, other cost of sales, inventory trends and turnover ratios, and production yield data Prepare audit schedules and footnote disclosures Support business unit and manufacturing groups with cost, manufacturing and inventory analysis. Support on HC and other COGS/Mfg Variance P&L Forecast in Adaptive.
