The Access Control System Support Technician is responsible for providing excellent customer service as well as the proper processing of University-wide approved key requests and badge requests. All the while, ensuring that only the approved individuals possess the valid credentials for access and that neither the key/core nor the card access systems integrity have been compromised in any manner whatsoever. Maintaining both the key/core and card access systems integrity is absolutely vital and a major part of this position. Working independently and able to exercise good judgment and discretion is essential to this job. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: · Directly supports the Access Control Supervisor. · Customer service: Receive and process phone calls and emails.
