Position Summary: Directs all activities within an organized department for the purpose of delivery of optimal patient care in a therapeutic and cost-effective manner. Assists with human resources management activities, such as staff scheduling, staff development, and performance monitoring. Is accountable of department on a 24-hour basis. Functions as manager.
