Position: Director, Professional Development Classification: Full-time, Exempt Reports to: VP, Community Based Care Location: Houston, TX Position Description: The Director of Professional Development provides leadership for the Texans Together (TTG) Professional Development Division, ensuring high-quality training for new and current employees, foster/adopt parents, and the community. This role oversees training initiatives aligned with TTG’s mission and contractual requirements, including coordinating training and skill-building components of strategic implementation efforts such as Texas Child Centered Care (T3C). The Director collaborates with program teams, the evaluation team, state agency and CBC Lead Agency partners, and local organizations to achieve training goals and outcomes. This position manages daily professional development operations, including setting strategic goals, developing policies and procedures, establishing schedules and standards, evaluating outcomes, and preparing and monitoring the division budget.
