Job Summary: The Energy Assistance Program Specialist is responsible for supporting federal, State and internal Energy Assistance programs for Vistra’s low-income / at-risk customers within both ERCOT and the MWNE markets and across all brands. This role is responsible for assisting the Sr. Manager, Customer Advocacy Services in delivering on established public outreach plan such as coordinating Beat the Heat and Winter Warmth events in all Vistra markets, identifying and driving initiatives to increase the percentage of federal funds received by Vistra customers and assisting in efforts to increase Energy Aid program donations and enhance / expand current and future programs. Additionally, this role is responsible for coordinating and supporting agency education, intake sessions and all agency and Energy Assistance reporting.
