The role of the Accounting Manager is to provide support to the Assistant Controller group and Management, which includes performing month-end close procedures and reviewing the work product of others, preparing and/or reviewing audit and review engagement requests, helping to obtain information and requests from other team members and departments, mentoring other team members, as well as performing special ad hoc projects and tasks.
