Description Are you passionate about working with youth in an outdoor setting? Camp North Homes is seeking dedicated Camp Aides to support a safe and therapeutic environment for clients participating in our outdoor programming. This role works under the guidance of a Mental Health Professional and/or Mental Health Practitioner to ensure an engaging, supportive, and secure experience for all participants. Key Responsibilities: Safety & Program Support - Ensure the safety and well-being of all youth, staff, and participants by following Camp North Homes policies and procedures and adhering to relevant certifications (NASP, ARC Lifeguarding, etc.). - Communicate clear expectations, guidelines, and responsibilities to staff and non-facilitating adults to maintain a secure environment. - Support the implementation of Independent Behavior Plans by reinforcing skills, providing prompts, and encouraging positive interactions between peers and caregivers. - Monitor behaviors and interactions, providing appropriate redirection and de-escalation techniques as needed. - Document incidents and complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
