POSITION TITLE: MANAGER IN TRAINING: DEPARTMENT: EXPRESS LANE / PITT STOP CONVENIENCE STORES SC: REPORTS TO: GENERAL MANAGER: FLSA: NON-EXEMPT / HOURLY: The manager in training (MIT) position is designed to prepare an individual for a future management role by providing broad exposure to company operations, departments, and leadership skills through rotational work, hands-on experience, and formal instruction. Responsibilities often include assisting with daily operations, analyzing reports, contributing to hiring and training, and developing interpersonal and leadership abilities under the guidance of experienced managers. The goal is to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to eventually lead a team or department within the organization.
