National Spine and Pain Centers is seeking a Per Diem Surgical Technologist to join our team of highly trained, caring professionals at our surgery center in Lady Lake . - Schedule: as needed Monday through Friday (no weekends, holidays, or on-call) - Hours: Dayshift, flexible hours - Pain management, neuro, and spine experience preferred. IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL: - Assist the surgeon during surgical procedures with a high degree of efficiency, anticipating the surgeon’s and patient’s needs during the case - Ensure the availability of adequate supplies, equipment and instruments for scheduled cases and assist in opening cases in a sterile manner - Utilize physician preference cards to set up each case; updating cards when indicated - Assist with patient positioning, skin prep, and draping - Ensure accurate sponge, needle, and instrument counts are completed when indicated EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND REQUIRED SKILLS: - Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program - CST certification preferred - Current BLS - The capacity to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, while demonstrating resourcefulness and proactivity. - Authorization to work in the United States witho...
