As a Care and Support Worker at L’Arche , you will support adults with learning disabilities in line with agreed support and care plans, in all aspects of their everyday lives. You will deliver practical, physical and emotional support to people with learning disabilities, whilst proactively promoting choice, independence and self-determination. - L’Arche Ipswich - Address: Ipswich, Suffolk IP4 4BD - Salary: £12.82 per hour - Hours: 30 - 40 hours per week - Contract: Permanent, required as soon as possible - Reference: 0749 You will: - be a passionate, well-motivated and committed support worker - have a good knowledge and understanding of person-centred care approaches - be an outstanding care practitioner with experience of supporting adults with learning disabilities. - provide high-quality support to people with learning disabilities in line with L’Arche values, policies and procedures, Reach Standards in supported living and the requirements of the Care Quality Commission [CQC].
