Hotel 24 South & Conference Center is a historic, full?service hotel known for hosting weddings, conferences, meetings, and special events. Our Banquet team plays a key role in creating memorable experiences through exceptional service, professionalism, and attention to detail. We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable Banquet Servers to support our growing events and conference operations. This is a gratuity-earning position - averaging between $16 - $20 per hour. Typical hours are 6:00 am - 2:00 pm. Overview: The Banquet Server is responsible for preparing for and serving guests during banquet functions in accordance with hotel standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, sanitation, and warm hospitality. Key Duties & Responsibilities: - Reviews and understands the Banquet Event Order (BEO); completes setup according to the BEO. - Sets tables in assigned area (or checks to see that they have been set) correctly and uniformly, using clean, pressed linen (without rips, stains or tears); clean unspotted silverware; clean china with no chips or cracks; clean, unspotted glassware.
