Evening - 08 Hour (United States of America) This is a Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley job. A Brief Overview: The Clinical Laboratory Scientists (CLS) performs a wide range of medical laboratory tests used to diagnose, treat and prevent disease. Using technical knowledge and a theoretical understanding of the basis of the tests, records and validates the accuracy and quality of results to ensure conformity to specifications. Understands and applies the correct control measures and protocols in cases of abnormal results, escalating discrepancies as appropriate. Communicates with clinical staff and medical staff when results are critical or require urgent attention. Guides, trains and may provide mentoring to students and/or technical staff as appropriate.
