Project Engineer

Description Markon is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to provide technical and administrative support across project planning, design support, and construction management activities. This role is primarily responsible for maintaining project documentation, routing and tracking contractor submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs), supporting schedule and milestone tracking, and helping ensure project records are organized, current, and accessible across the team. The PE will support Government-led project execution by assisting with document flow, record management, reporting, meeting documentation, and coordination of project information across multiple stakeholders and workstreams. This position is best suited for an organized, detail-oriented professional who can manage high volumes of project documentation while maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and consistency. A key function of the role is supporting the review and routing of submittals, RFIs, and related project records using familiarity with CSI MasterFormat, UFGS divisions, drawings, specifications, and other construction documents to help direct materials to the appropriate technical reviewers.
