Supervisor - Utility Plant

Job description

Responsible for the operation and maintenance of thermal energy plants and all utility distribution systems. Schedule: Shift work - mostly day shift, but must be available to come in as needed. 1. Ability to work extended hours and respond to plant operational needs during inclement weather events and emergency conditions. 2. Coordinate and schedule personnel, contractors, and support shops for repairs, shutdowns, and operational activities across the utility plants. 3. Possess a working understanding of Building Automation Systems (BAS), system topology, and automation software utilized in plant operations. 4. Demonstrate the ability to trace, identify, and troubleshoot electrical and hydronic piping systems throughout plant operations. 5. Effectively restore and stabilize plant operations following unexpected events, equipment failures, or utility disruptions. 6. Develop and implement procedures, pathways, and process improvements to improve efficiency and completion of preventive maintenance activities. 7.
