Job Title Structural Engineer Steel Job Description: Are you an experienced structural engineer, able to work both on projects as well as improve the overall use of steelworks in our designs? Your position: As a Structural Engineer you are a member of the Steelwork Competence Team and report to the "Team Leader Steelwork". Your primary responsibility is to create (or in case of outsourcing: lead and coordinate) the structural design of the platforms and steelworks needed for the Material Handling Systems. This includes the specification of the structures and all building and safety aspects that belong to the items like flooring, access-systems (stairs and ladders) and guarding (railing and fencing). Secondly you will supervise the work of subcontractors and the quality of the steelworks they supply. In projects, you will work independently and report to Project-manager.
