Job Summary Under direct supervision of a more senior project specialist or manager, oversees small to medium projects or phase(s) of a larger project. Responsible for all aspects of the project over the entire project lifecycle. Responsible for assembling the project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project. To effectively coordinate the activities of the team, must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member. Competent to work on most phases of project management, under the guidance of a more experienced team member. Essential Functions: Typically under the direction of a more experienced project manager, oversees multiple small to medium sized projects of low to medium complexity. Related tasks may be a portion or phase of a large project or program.
