About the role We are seeking an experienced Finance and Accounting professional for our Corporate Controller . The role is a hands-on position responsible for overseeing and optimizing our accounting processes, procedures, and tools. The role is based in Bellevue and reports to the SVP Finance. The ideal candidate (you) is technically savvy, has a desire to learn, build, and mentor, and is eager to apply their experience modifying, improving, and streamlining processes and systems. You are collaborative, enjoy solving problems, and can work within a fast-paced, tech environment Responsibilities: - Lead, mentor, and manage our accounting team to ensure the sustained success of OfferUp's financial operations. - Provide leadership for the accounting team by executing the accounting strategy and driving tactical improvements - Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls that scale with the business and support audit readiness.
