Job Summary The Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) Department of ICANN is responsible for the operational aspects of coordinating the Internet’s unique identifiers and maintaining the trust of the community by delivering these services in an unbiased, responsible, and effective manner. The IANA Services Specialist is part of the team responsible for delivering IANA services. Specialists will gain knowledge in multiple areas, applying detailed analysis to incoming requests of varying complexity; validating against global policies and procedures; and exercising independent judgment and discretion while ensuring accuracy and meeting service level requirements. Additional responsibilities include supporting special projects, preparing reports for ICANN and its global partners, and managing internal process documentation.
