About the unit This unit is a 13-bed Med Surg unit with overflow into ICU. Stroke Certified. We treat our patients as our own family. Regionals also give you the opportunity to have flexibility with your schedule. Nurse to patient ratio 1:5 for days, up to 1:6 on nights. The staff here give their best daily to deliver quality care to our community Scope of work: The Nursing Technician role is a fast-paced role requiring strong communication and teamwork skills, regardless of the department you are working in. This is a direct patient care role, and duties will include Taking Vitals, Checking Blood Sugar, Wound Care, Bed bathing, Toileting, Ambulating, Catheterization, and acting as safety attendant for patients as needed.
