Job Details: SUMMARY : This facility is part of our Prepared Foods business unit. The Maintenance Manager I is responsible for supervising the maintenance staff of packaging production equipment on the off shifts. This role will be responsible for covering off shifts while being flexible with working hours. RESPONSIBILITIES: Plant Improvement and Expansion: - Assist in planning and executing plant improvements and expansions. - Manager must have a continuous improvement mindset and be able to plan long term - Minimize unscheduled work through continuous improvement Training and Development: - Ensure all maintenance personnel are proficient in operating equipment and possess necessary maintenance skills. - Implement training programs to keep staff updated on best maintenance practices. Safety and Compliance: - Establish and maintain a safe workplace environment, complying with all safety and regulatory standards. - Ensure compliance with safety, health, OSHA, and environmental regulations at local, state, and federal levels. - Communicate and enforce safety programs effectively, while holding team members accountable.
