Description The Middlebury College Summer Portuguese School is pleased to announce a vacancy for a temporary Bilingual Assistant. The position is available during the summer 2016 session, located on Middlebury College campus in Vermont. Our unique 7-week program combines a cultural immersion environment with rigorous daily classroom instruction. The Bilingual Assistant provides critical administrative support to the School coordinator and director by acting as liaison between administration, faculty, staff, and students. We seek candidates with the following attributes: - Must have patience and the ability to work under pressure with frequent interruptions and to prioritize essential tasks. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to relate to people from other cultures. - Must be a team player. - Outgoing personality a plus. - Must be able to handle student and faculty matters with discretion, and confidentiality where required.
