Division/Unit: Early Engagement Case Support Position Title: Unit Specialist: Civil Service Title: Community Associate: Salary Range: $52,264 - $52,264: Job Description: The New York County District Attorney's Office has an immediate opening for a EECU Unit Specialist in the Early Engagement Case Support Unit (EECU). In this position the Unit Specialist is responsible for scanning orders of protection issued in arraignments and the Criminal/Supreme court parts, assisting victims in understanding the criminal justice system, referring for advocacy and counseling services, providing information regarding crime victims’ rights, offering administrative support to the Unit, and for the Crime Victim’s Vigil. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: In addition to the Minimum Qualification Requirements, candidates must possess the following: - Scan and correct orders of protection issued in arraignments and the Criminal/Supreme court parts into the OPS database - Mail/e-mail Orders of Protection to victims/witnesses - Record returned mail in the OPS database, and consult with staff and Assistant District Attorney’s to ensure correct information is entered, and updated accordingly...
